2018 Upsilon Pi Epsilon New Inductees

The Upsilon Pi Epsilon has three new inductees for 2018. They are: Erich Berger Nicholas Hurst and Justin Wallace.

The Upsilon Pi Epsilon graduates for 2018 are: Brady Douglas and Justin Wallace.

Pi Mu Epsilon had seven new inductees in 2018. The new inductees are: Aaron Arnold, Catherine Cunningham, Emma Dumford, Kelly Luck, Emily Martin, Kyle Puhl and Ashlyn Smith.

The 2018 graduates for Pi Mu Epsilon are: Catherine Cunningham, Brady Douglas, Elizabeth Kidd, Emily Law and Michael Woode.

Leo Schneider Mathematics Competition

Ashland University's Math and Computer Science Department took three teams to the Leo Schneider Mathematics Competition held at Miami University on April 6. The teams were: Malice Alchemy liE - Michael Homan, Alec Baldosser, Emily Law; hoKey crAnial Male: Michael Woode, Kyle Puhl; and Ashy mEssianic Jelly - Ashlyn Smith, Jessica Shrider, Emily Martin.

There were 12 teams who competed with Ashy mEssianic Jelly (Ashlyn, Jessica, Emily M.) finishing in 7th place with 34 points. hoKey crAial Male (Kyle, Michael W.) finishing tied for 8th place with 26 points and Malice Alchemy liE (Michael H., Alec, Emily L.) finishing in 11th place with 14 points. Comparing our results to the top teams from other universities, Ohio Northern University, Case Western Reserve University, Miami University and Wittenberg University had higher scoring teams, while Ashy mEssianic Jelly beat the top teams from Shawnee State University and Cleveland State University.
