The 2020 Honors Reception for the Math and Computer Science Department was held on April 29, 2020 via Zoom. Students were awarded for a GPA of 3.5 in their Math and Computer Science Courses. In addition, there were outstanding student awards, graudates, scholarship recipients, Pi Mu Epsilon new inductees, ACM officers, MAA officers, UPE officers, PME officers, student presentations and student participation recognition.
The following students received outstanding student awards.
Carpenter Award for Outstanding Calculus Student: Kayla Neyra
Wendling Award for Outstanding Discrete Mathematics Student: Shawn Brady
Poorman Award for Outstanding Introductory Computer Programming Student: Kane Feldhake
Outstanding Sophomore: Hannah Smigel
Outstanding Juniors: Brittany Close, Logan Hurst, Josiah Moore, Benjamin Schlemmer and Emily Schordock.
Outstanding Seniors: Camryn Bickerstaff, Daria Kochis, Lingxi Li, Renee Lucas and Kelly Luck.
